Meet Your Practitioners

Megan Harms

LAc. (Licensed Acupuncturist)

MSOM (Master of Science in Oriental Medicine)

Before finding Eastern Medicine, Megan worked in Western Medicine & witnessed how most patients are offered pharmaceutical meds or surgeries. She knew in her heart that even though those were important options, there had to be more… a way to care for the person as a whole.

Megan obtained a certificate as an Energy Therapy Practitioner from Wellspring Allied Health in Kansas City. Then continued her education at Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder for Traditional Chinese Medicine, a program that taught how to offer patients well- rounded treatments with modalities of acupuncture, Chinese herbs, moxibustion, tuina, cupping, auriculotherapy, e-stim, dietary and lifestyle recommendations.

She immersed herself in the medicine & completed its rigorous 4 year program of over 3000 hours of education, in just 3 years.  She graduated in 2010 with a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine. She passed the national board exams with NCCAOM, which includes Clean Needle Technique, is a member of the American Association of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine, and is a Licensed Acupuncturist in Colorado and Missouri.

After graduation, Megan worked in the Kansas City area, specializing in prenatal, postnatal, and pediatric care. She soon decided to return to the mountains and the state she loves so much, Colorado.

Megan is thrilled to have her own clinic and has given over 10,000 treatments in the past 10 years! Megan has a gentle technique and enjoys treating a wide spectrum of issues from pain to anxiety, & specializes in women's issues, fertility, children's health.

She can be found at Love Co 3 days a week. The rest of the time, she can be found homeschooling her 3 beautiful children, crafting, and enjoying all that Colorado has to offer.

MSOM (Master of Science in Oriental Medicine)

Stephen Harms has an undergraduate degree from Muhlenberg College and a Master's Degree in Oriental Medicine from Southwest College in 2007. After passing a series of five medical boards including testing in Western medical applications, Stephen was licensed to practice Eastern medicine and Nationally Certified through the NCCAOM. Holding current licenses in the states of Colorado and Missouri, Stephen has been involved in the healthcare profession since 2001.

He is also a Master level trainer for the Institute of Integral Tai Chi and Qi Gong, which is the current American holder of internal practices in the United States. He has had many teachers over the years who are also recognized internationally as illuminated figureheads of the mind body movement. Stephen is passionate about teaching and has held teaching positions at various institutions around the country including the Pennsylvania Institute of Muscle Therapy, Southwest Acupuncture College, and Boulder College of Massage Therapy.

Stephen worked at First Choice Chriopractic in Kansas, specializing in pain relief and was quite beloved in the community.  He recently worked in the Community acupuncture model and loves how this design is similar to how people were traditionally treated in China and that it allows everyone access to this healing modality. Stephen's teaching schedule is found at his American Internal Martial Systems Facebook Page.

Stephen's talent really shines when teaching and treating pain. He has experience working with professional and olympic level athletes to heal injuries and increase health & performance. Stephen also has great success with those complicated cases that others have tried to treat unsuccesfully. People are continually floored at the power of his treatments.
